THE family of rapper OG Maco has broken their silence about the death rumors surrounding the artist.
OG Maco, who was hospitalized with an apparent gunshot wound on December 13, is in critical but stable condition, his family confirmed.
"He is receiving the best possible care, and we stay hopeful as he continues to fight," the message shared on the rapper's Instagram account read.
"At this time, we kindly ask that you respect our privacy, but if you would like to send any messages or have anything you wish to get to the family, please reach out via DM.

OG Maco, whose real name is Benedict Chiajulam Ihesiba Jr., was found unresponsive in his home in Los Angeles on the morning of December 13, according to Hot97.
The rapper, 32, was found with a gunshot wound to the head and underwent emergency surgery, the outlet reported.
