(FOX40.COM) -- Several days after a two-car crash near Turlock killed four people, including three members of one family, the California Highway Patrol announced that another member of that family, a 14-year-old teenage boy, has died.
The teen died on Thursday, the CHP said. The crash happened on December 15 along SR-165 at Greenway Avenue, just south of Turlock.
Two parents and their three teenage children were in one vehicle and the other vehicle had just the driver.
On the day of the crash, both parents and their 16-year-old daughter died, as well as the 22-year-old driver of the other vehicle.
The two other passengers in the family vehicle were taken to the hospital, one of whom was the 14-year-old boy.
Officials said the 22-year-old was driving an Infiniti northbound on SR-165, approaching Greenway Avenue at a "high rate of speed."
At the same time, the father of the family was driving a Jeep westbound on Greenway Avenue.
The Jeep entered the intersection and was struck by the Infiniti, according to the CHP.
Officials said the Infiniti driver was not wearing his seatbelt, and that all passengers of the Jeep were.
