Leave it to our institutions of "higher learning" to publicly reject "rational thought" and "objective truth" as products of bigotry.

That's how Casey Griffin, a professor and research assistant at the University of Delaware deems those basic ideals in her PhD paper titled "Study of Undergraduate Women's Sense of Belonging in Calculus." In an ironic attempt to promote "feminist [teaching methods]" in math classes," she owns herself by calling truth and logic "masculine qualities."

Therefore, she complains, women lack "perceived competence" and a "sense of belonging" in fields like STEM, despite admitting to studies that suggest the number of opportunities provided to female students show otherwise.

Instead, Griffin blames truth itself for "alienating" those "who identify as women."

"Additionally, discourse around science, and particularly mathematics, positions the field as gender-neutral and a source of rational and objective truth that is independent of the mind," she whines.

"Given that the U.S. system of education, particularly secondary and postsecondary institutions, was created by men, for the sole purpose of educating men," she argues objectivity is subjective. Basic truth is sexist! Equality therefore means re-writing the truth to include those who reject it.

As George Orwell foreshadowed, "it was inevitable" that a tyrannical ideology should announce "sooner or later" that "two and two made five, and you would have to believe it."

"The logic of their position demanded it. Not merely the validity of experience, but the very existence of external reality, was tacitly denied by their philosophy," he warned in his book, 1984.

That philosophy is what we know today as "Diversity, Equity and Inclusion," pushed mainly by the very institutions we're supposed to entrust with our grasp of truth.
