MERIDEN, Conn. (WTNH) -- Police are searching for four men that ripped an ATM out of a gas station in Meriden Sunday morning.
The robbery took place at the Valero Gas Station at 369 Cook Ave. Suspects had fled the scene by the time police arrived.
In surveillance video, a green 2008 Honda CRV with the CT tags reading "4615CP" can be seen smashing through the front window of the business.
The video shows four men inside the car. After smashing the window, they wrapped a chain connected to the Honda around the ATM.
The machine fell apart as the suspects tried to leave the scene. They grabbed the cash box and left the rest of the machinery.
The same Honda is believed to have been involved in a similar attempt to steal an ATM in Branford later the same day.
