Tessa Blanchard's shocking return to TNA at Final Resolution had fans talking -- and not all of it was good. But how did the TNA locker room feel about her controversial comeback? Matt Hardy shed some light on the backstage vibe during a recent episode of his Extreme Life of Matt Hardy podcast.
"There were a few people I was sitting with in the room who were like, 'Oh man, you know, she was here at one time,' and they'd say, 'Man, she didn't do things right,' or whatever else," Hardy revealed, referencing Blanchard's turbulent history with the company.
Despite the mixed emotions, Hardy emphasized that TNA management handled the situation with transparency. "One thing I've heard is that everyone she was going to be working with was given a heads-up. They knew it was going to happen."
Blanchard's return was reportedly monitored closely by TNA officials, and the feedback has been positive so far. Hardy also shared that Blanchard took the extra step of making herself available to anyone in the locker room who had unresolved issues with her.
"Apparently, they've been following her pretty closely -- seeing how she's been as a performer, how professional she's been and whatnot. And so far, it seems like things are going well. I know she made herself available to speak with anyone who might have had grievances with her at the end of the night."
The mixed reactions from her peers highlight the complexities of Blanchard's return, but Hardy believes in second chances, especially for those working to rebuild their reputation.
